Leo M. Littlefield, age 84, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, formerly of Salt Lake City, died in Oklahoma Veterans Hospital on March 20, 2003.
Lee was the son of William Omer and Mary Elvira Campbell Littlefield. Born, September 30, 1918 in Adamsville, Utah.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth, Glen; sister Mary Timmerman. Married Dolores Feuerborn.
He served in the 19th Engineering in World War II and in all the Major Campaigns in North Africa, Italy, and Sicily. He received the Silver Star for bravery under fire, also the Bronze Star and five battle stars.
He is survived by his wife Dolores; sons, Larry, Indianola, Iowa; Randy Las Vegas, Nevada; Tim, Washington, Utah; Ted, Chickasha, Oklahoma; daughters, Kathy Olson, Murray; Susan Eckroth, West Valley City; Angel Carpenter, John Day, Oregon; 19 grandchildren, three great-grand-children; brother, Zenol Littlefield, West Valley City; and sister, Edna Jarrard, Salt Lake City.
Funeral and burial in Oklahoma on Wednesday March 26, 2003. Interment in Fort Sill National Cemetery.
