Obituary: Dal Pierce Wells

- Dal Pierce Wells, 78, passed away at his home in Wellington March 22, 2003.

He was born March 24, 1924 in Victor, UT to James Kershew and Vena Mae Pierce Wells. He married Colleen Snyder March 12, 1947 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. His love was farming and his family. He was a member of the LDS Church and served many callings including a mission to the Northwestern States Mission.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Glen (Tammy) Wells, Cheryl (Arnold) Cooper, Paula (Kim) Noyes all of Wellington, Ted (Margaret) Wells, Price; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Robert; and sisters, Leah, Anne, Patsy, Verna. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin stillborn daughters; brothers, Ray, Lynn; and granddaughter, Frankie Nicole Noyes.

Friends may call for a visitation at the Fausett Mortuary, Price Mon. March 24, 2003, 6-8 p.m. Services will be at the Wellington LDS Stake Center Tues. March 25, 2003, 11 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Wellington City Cemetery.
