Alpha B. Natter age 87, passed away at home in Salt Lake City with her children by her side.
Born February 2, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Franz and Bertha Bandt.
She was married to Lewis R. Natter on April 8, 1937. And was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
She graduated from South High, owned and operated Natter market from 1947-1969, worked for Kmart and was still working on her 80th birthday, catered with her husband and Mollie and Bud, held numerous church positions, was a member of the Utah Grocers Association, was a member of the Lady Lions, an avid and devoted Jazz fan, card player
extraordinaire and she was loved by many friends and family.
She is survived by sons, Victor aka Butch, Tim (Cindy); daughter, Vicki Lou Hills; and sister, Mildred (Gert) and husband Frank Dix; nine grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog Peaches. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walt and Harold; and sister Victoria.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 29, 2003 at Memorial Mortuary 5850 South 900 East at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services on Saturday. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
