Obituary: Hazel Brady Butterfield

"Welcome home Babe!"

Hazel Brady Butterfield, 89, our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great- and Great-Great-Grandmother, returned home to her Heavenly Father on March 26, 2003.

She was born December 30, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Silas Marion Brady and Naomi Walker. She married her sweetheart for eternity, George Orin Butterfield, on April 26, 1929, and was sealed to him on December 7, 1966 for time and all eternity.

She was a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Lord and served in many callings throughout her life. She especially enjoyed being a temple worker. Hazel lived a full and happy life. She loved her family and was very proud of them.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Mae Covington, of West Jordan; Donna Lee (Harold) Tate, of Herriman; 15 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 35 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Hawkins. She is preceded in death by her husband; a grandson and a great- granddaughter; four sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 31, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in the OLD Draper 1st Ward, 12300 South 600 East, Draper, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 p.m. or Monday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
