Obituary: Deanne Kathleen Anastasion Fullmer

"Gone Dancin"

Wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend, died at her home on March 26, 2003 with her loving family by her side.

Deanne was born in Surrey England March 27, 1927, to Andre and Marie Anastasion.

She immigrated to America in 1946 with her brother Andre and sister Yvonne to join their parents and brother Paul and sister Angela in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Deanne married her husband, Darrell Fullmer, on January 28, 1955. They had 48 wonderful years together.

Deanne was an excellent secretary and enjoyed working for Skaggs/ Alpha Beta for 15 years, where she met her dearest friend Margie Hayes.

Deanne loved jazz, she loved to dance and above all she loved her New Year's Eve with Darrell, usually at the Little America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake. She was an avid reader and crossword puzzle addict. She always loved England and liked the rainy days which reminded her of her English past. She was also an avid Utah Jazz fan.

She adored her grandsons, Ryan and Evan Buck, and her grand-daughters, Erin and Amber Pulsipher. They were always close to her heart.

Deanne is survived by her loving husband, Darrell, her daughters, Julia (Colin) Buck, and Teresa Rosen, brother Andre C. Anastasion, Yvonne Billings and Angela Baldwin. She was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother Paul Anastasion.

Deanne, you will be missed more than you will ever know and your memory will never fade-we will see you again.

Many thanks to her daughter Julia who helped so much with her care during her months long ordeal with cancer and the love and care from her daughter Teresa, and at the end with her loving grand-daughters and grandsons Erin, Amber, Ryan, and Evan.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Debbie Buese from Community Nursing Services hospice group for all her capable assistance in helping us through this difficult time.
