Salt Lake-based GE Driver Development said Monday it has acquired the remaining interest in I-Sim LLC from the company's original founders.
Terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition, through parent company GE Capital Corp. "solidifies GE Driver Development's commitment to driver simulation training and its impact on the safety and productivity goals of our motor carrier and law enforcement customers," said Brian Runkle, GE Driver Development's chief executive officer.
Runkle added the company will continue to leverage the expertise of the I-Sim LLC founders as general consultants.
GE Driver Development operates training centers throughout the country, with locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia and Salt Lake City for the transportation and law enforcement industries. It also delivers training and simulation at clients' locations and manufactures and markets simulators.
