Obituary: Claudia Thompson

10/28/39 ~ 2/28/03

Claudia Mae Cook Mounteer Gross Thompson, our daughter, mom and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Thornton and Emma Cook, grew up in Utah, loved California where she spent most of her adult life. She raised one daughter and three sons. Claudia enjoyed crocheting, crafting and the outdoors, especially fishing. Claudia made friends easily and will be missed by all who knew her.

Survived by her mother, Emma Cook; children, Rick (Sherri) Mounteer, Russ (Nancy) Thompson, Ron (Tina) Gross; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grand-children; brothers, Dennis, Clyde, Darrell Cook; and her best friend, Ottie. Preceded in death by her father, Thornton Cook; daughter, Terry Stewart; and husbands, Joe Gross, Russell Thompson.

We would like to express our thanks to CNS Hospice Services for the wonderful care they extended to Claudia.

Graveside services will be Wed. March 5, 12 noon Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd.
