Cloyd Bird (Forum, March 26) equates not only Brian David Mitchell with terrorism, but he also calls the French and even environmentalists terrorists.
Does anyone else find this offensive to the memory of those who died in the 9/11 attacks? How can this comparison even be made in a society of educated people?
Granted, some very outrageous environmentalists do more harm to their own cause than good, but are there not people in every activism group who are so committed they are blinded to the harm they do to their own cause?
Environmentalists are neither anti-American nor anti-business. They want the Earth to be around for a while.
It is disgraceful that the memory of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 could be invoked in this way.
