Single-game tickets for the Salt Lake Stingers' 2003 season are on sale through the team's box office, by phone at (801) 485-3800 and through the team's Web site at www.stingersbaseball.com.
Tickets are available for all 72 home games from April 11 through Aug. 28. Ticket prices are $8 for field box seats, $7 for club reserved seating and $6 for general reserved seating.
The team also offers a $5 general reserved ticket for children 3-12; middle school, high school and college students with ID; seniors 65 or over and active military with ID. Children 2 and under are free.
Box office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
"Online ticket sales were at an all-time high last year, and we expect that trend to continue," said Richard Lahr, the Stingers' director of ticket operations. "It's a great way to avoid the ticket lines on our busiest nights and to make sure you get the seat you want." Lahr urges that anyone purchasing tickets for the four fireworks nights — April 4, July 4, July 24 and Aug. 30 — order tickets in advance.
"Last year we drew more than 16,000 fans on July 4 and July 24, so it's a good idea to get those tickets early."
Season tickets, family packs and mini-plans are also on sale and may be purchased in person, by phone or through the team's Web site.
