Literature conference at WSU

Students to offer critical and creative papers

OGDEN — The 18th annual National Undergraduate Literature Conference at Weber State University will be Thursday-Saturday, April 3-5.

More than 115 students from 33 U.S. colleges and universities will present critical and creative papers to an audience of peers. The event is the largest of its kind in the country.

Keynote speaker David Duncan, author of novels, short stories, poetry and a play, will present a reading at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, in the Community Writing Center, 3159 Grant Ave.

Other speakers will be Linda Hogan, April 4 at 3 p.m., and Stephen Trimble, who will join Hogan for a question-and-answer session Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Those talks will be in the Stewart Library Special Collections area.
