On September 18, 1937 she married Robert D. Barrows at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City. She and her husband settled in Salt Lake where they continued to live and raise their three children. Some of the family's fondest memories were that of the many summer days spent at the cabin in Brighton, Utah.
After the untimely death of her husband she enjoyed working as a secretary for Homer Hansen Furniture for many years.
Beatrice loved spending time in her garden, growing beautiful vegetables and her favorite roses. In her spare time she created many beautiful crocheted items for her family. One of her most treasured experiences was being able to travel and return to visit her homeland of Wales.
