Forget radioactive doom

The transportation and storage of used nuclear fuel pose such low risk, as proven by five decades of experience in both the United States and Europe, that the current controversy is incomprehensible. There has never been a transportation accident after 3,000 shipments over 40 years that has released radiation, injuring any member of the public.

The purveyors of radioactive doom have no real basis for their "the sky is falling" hysteria.
