Obituary: Glen Douglas Berry

Glen Douglas Berry, age 54, passed away March 4, 2003 in Salt Lake City, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born January 6, 1949 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, son of H. Shelby and Jewel Lee Berry.

Glen lived in Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, Salt Lake City, and was a resident of Hurricane at the time of his death. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Glen was proud to have served his country during the Vietnam War. Following Vietnam, he proudly re-enlisted and spent the next three years in Germany. He was employed by Red Rock Waste of St. George at the time of his death. Glen was an avid sports fan, and a devoted family man. He loved to spend time with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Darrell) Bullinger, Basin, WY.; stepdaughters, Amy (Randy) Teal, and Spring Soper, both of Salt Lake City; stepson, Matthew Soper of Texas; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Roger (Connie) Berry and Dale (Diana) Berry; sisters, Ann (Wayne) Meyers, Charlotte (Darwin) Poulsen, and Darlene (Dan) Jackman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7th, 12 noon, at Warenski Funeral Home, 1776 North 900 East in American Fork, where friends may call Friday, 10-11:45 a.m. Interment, Highland City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Warenski Funeral Home.
