Dian Christiansen Jensen, 61, of Elsinore, Utah, passed away March 4, 2003 in Richfield, Utah.
She was born Sept 23, 1941 in Junction, Utah to Neldon James and Cleonda Armeda Barnson Christiansen. She married Leo D. Jensen, June 22, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dian was raised in Elsinore and educated in South Sevier schools, graduated from South Sevier High School.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved fishing, camping and traveling, especially to Hawaii.
She has had many physical afflictions which she has battled bravely and well. She and Leo retired to Elsinore in April of 2001 and started construction of their dream home. She was struck by her final affliction shortly before the home was completed, but has been able to enjoy it during her struggle.
They have been blessed with two sons and three grandsons whom they dearly love.
Survivors include her husband, Leo, of Elsinore; sons, Mark James (Debbie) Jensen of Parker, CO, Bryan Leo (Jennifer) Jensen of Linden, UT; three grandsons, Dominic, Nikolas and Dakota Jensen; sister, Kaye (Morgan "Poge") Larson of Elsinore. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be Sat. March 8, 2003, 12 noon in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Elsinore, Sat. 10-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, UT.
