LOGAN — Game times have been set for Utah State football games this fall. All night contests will kick off at 6 p.m. while day games will start at 1.
"We figure in so many factors when making these decisions, our hope is to find some middle ground," USU athletic director Rance Pugmire said. "Crowds, fans' travel, local businesses, media coverage, weather, holidays, pregame activities and homecoming are just a few. Hopefully, we've reached some kickoff times beneficial to all."
The Aggies, who begin spring drills March 17, have five home games in 2003. The first is Sept. 27 against Louisiana-Monroe (6 p.m.). USU's Sun Belt Conference opener is followed by Romney Stadium dates with Wyoming (6 p.m.) on Oct. 11; Arkansas State (1 p.m.) on Oct. 25; Middle Tennessee State (1 p.m.) on Nov. 1; and Troy State (1 p.m.) on Nov. 15.
Road trips include visits to Utah, Nebraska, Arizona State, New Mexico, North Texas, New Mexico State and Idaho.
