Be willing to sacrifice

On June 5, 1944, General Eisenhower said, "Let's go." His instructions to his men were as follows: "The destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of Nazi tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world." We accomplished that mission.

Thousands of American, English and French lives were given as a sacrifice for liberating France and freeing the German people. To those of you who are "frightened" that you may be asked to sacrifice, get a backbone. This country was saved by those with a backbone and were willing to put it on the line. Go and do likewise.
