"Our Beloved Son"

Seth William Buhr, age 22, died of injuries sustained while hiking with friends at Donut Falls.
He was born Oct 2, 1980 in Salt Lake City to Robert and Ann Buhr. Seth graduated from West High School and served an honorable mission to the Chile Santiago North mission. He loved missionary work and was called as Ward Mission Leader following his mission.
He enjoyed attending LDS Business College where he made many friends. He also had many friends in the community and loved being with them. He loved his Heavenly Father so very much and all who knew him felt it. All of us were influenced for good by his loving example.
The family wants to express their deep gratitude to Joseph Freed, Jeanette Smith and Dara Jacobberger for their efforts in trying to save his life and for being his good friends.
Seth enjoyed playing his guitar, lifting weights, maintaining his Spanish language skills and especially studying the scriptures. He loved hiking in the mountains with his friends. His passion is people and he volunteered his time frequently for others.
His parents, brother, Samuel, and sister, Sarah, survive him.
Friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple and the funeral will be Wed. May 28, 2003, Eagle Gate LDS Stake Center, 135 A St. (between 1st and 2nd Ave) 11 a.m. A viewing will be 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
