1931 ~ 2003

Our wonderful wife, mother and grandmother Carma Liedtke Hunter 72, died peacefully May 21, 2003 at her home surrounded by her family who loved her dearly.

She was born April 15, l931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Max Paul and Verda Snyder Liedtke. Married her sweetheart Donald Fraser Hunter Jan l6, l950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Carma was raised in Salt Lake, a member of the LDS church where she served faithfully in many positions. She was a temple worker with her husband for 15 years in the Jordan River Temple. A gifted seamstress, she was known for designing and making elaborate baby dresses and beautiful quilts, and willingly shared her time and talents with others throughout the world.

Survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald F. Hunter of Riverton; six children, David (Candy) Hunter, Lehi; Connie (Larry) Benson, So. Jordan; DeeAnn (Art) Havican of St. Paul, MN; Terry (Norah) Hunter, Pleasant Grove; Don (Vickie) Hunter, Riverton; and James (Anna Lee) Hunter Downey, Idaho; 32 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie (Doug) Wagstaff, and Linda (Cliff) Hoskisson; four brothers Paul (Barbara) Liedtke, Elwood Liedtke, Jerry (Angie) Liedtke, and Larry (Carol) Liedtke. Preceded in death by daughter, Janat; parents, Max Paul Liedtke and Verda Snyder; sister, Wanita L. Hill.

Funeral Services will be held Tues. at ll:00 a.m. at the Riverton 5th Ward l855 W. l3400 So. Friends may call Monday evening. From 6-8 p.m. At the Broomhead Funeral Home l2600 So. 2200 W. and on Tues. one hour prior at the church. Interment in the Riverton Cemetery.
