Executives from all three major Broadway theater owners — the Shuberts, the Nederlanders and Jujamcyn — have seen or are in the process of going to see the show, which opened to favorable reviews at the Royal National Theater last month. While some American reaction hasn't been as rapturous — one stage exec called it awful, producers seemed confident that the show would be a commercial hit here.
