AMARILLO, Texas (AP) — A strong gust of wind swept a Southwest Airlines plane off the runway shortly after landing, but no one was injured.

The pilot was able to steer the plane back onto the tarmac, but the landing gear failed afterward and the 63 passengers were taken to the terminal by bus late Saturday.

The runway remained closed Sunday until some damaged lights could be replaced, said Southwest spokesman Ed Stewart.
