Thanksgiving Point Stadium 8 opens its doors to the public Friday, May 30, with Disney and Pixar's new children's feature, "Finding Nemo."
Managed by Westates Theatres, the new movie house, which features digital sound, luxurious stadium seating and eight big screens, will serve all of north Utah County along with the communities of Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain and Cedar Fort. It will offer the newest releases and summer blockbusters.

The 9th Annual Hidden Garden Benefit Tour, sponsored each year by the Celebration of Health Foundation, features north Utah County gardens this year.
Beautiful gardens at the homes of 12 individuals will be open for visits Friday, June 6, from noon to 8 p.m., and Saturday, June 7, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
On Friday, horticulturist Larry Sagers will teach classes at Thanksgiving Point's gardens on flower planting for color and basic vegetable gardening. Master gardeners will also teach classes on Saturday on container planting and gardening opportunities for children.
Advance tickets are available for $12 by mail before May 28, at IHC hospitals, local nurseries and at the gardens the day of the event for $15. Send requests to Celebration of Health Foundation, 1134 N. 500 West, Suite 205, Provo, UT 84604.

SPRINGVILLE
A knight to remember. Yestare, a national Medieval battle event, begins Thursday in Hobblecreek Canyon at Camp Jeremiah Johnson. Participants, who belong to the Springville realm, Ered Duath, of The Belegarth Medieval Combat Society, will camp out and battle Thursday through Sunday. The public is invited between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday to watch the action.
Warriors meet at North Park in Provo every Thursday and Saturday to practise for the national competitions. More than 3,500 compete nationally. They make their own weapons — padded for safety.
A warrior campout is Thursday followed by the Assassin's Tournament, the Knight's Tournament and the Warrior's Tournament on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
