Mozelle Kennedy Toth, age 87, passed away in her sleep May 24, 2003 in Salt Lake City.

Born Dec 22, 1915 in Coffee County, TN. She was the fifth of nine children born to William and Maggie Kennedy. After graduation from high school in Morrison, TN, Mozelle moved to the South Bend, IN area where she met and married Alex A. Toth June 24, 1939. They subsequently moved to Mishawaka, IN where she lived more than 60 years.

During the final three years of her life, she moved to Salt Lake City to be closer to her son Ron, and his wife, Polly. She resided at Chateau Brickyard where she enjoyed living until her recent illness.

Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband; seven brothers and sisters; son, Steven; and daughter, Mary. She is survived by her son, Ron; daughter-in-law, Polly; and sister, Imogene Brooks, Muncie, IN.

Besides being a loving wife, devoted mother/mother-in-law, and loyal sister to her family, she was also a trusted friend and neighbor, devout Christian, mentor, educator, counselor, gifted gardener, and avid sports fan. She leaves a legacy of kindness, generosity, compassion, unconditional love, and a smiling countenance that will treasured by friends and family for many years.

Services will be Thurs. May 29, Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, IN. An option to flowers and cards is a memorial donation to Southeast Christian Church (Salt Lake City) or the American Cancer Society.
