"GRAM"

Mortal life came peacefully to a close for Hazel, who died with her children by her side May 23, 2003. She lived a long full life, self-reliant, independent to the very end of her 93 years.

Born August 24th, 1909 in Herriman, Utah to William Abner Crane and Martha Mary Bodell. Gram was one of 10 children having five brothers and four sisters all whom preceded her in death. She attended Jordan High School. She married Marland S. Freeman.

She was active in the LDS Church. Her zest for life, example set, testimony shared and beauty created, stand as a lasting tribute to her. She loved to share her many talents and cooking skills. She was a gifted quilter, crocheting afghans, sweaters, and doilies. She worked many years at Auerbacks becoming an assistant to the buyer in Salt Lake City, and May Company in California. She was proud of her heritage and anxious to stay involved. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to June Chidester, Betty Brugener, and Sue Bunderson for their friendship of time shared with Gram.
