Lloyd Winward, 74, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, business associate and friend passed away May 25, 2003.
A pillar in the community, Lloyd unselfishly served in the Vernal Chamber of Commerce, Dinah-Mites, Lions Club, professional accounting organizations and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife Alta Rae Weeks Winward; five children; and one foster child; 21 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vernal Third Ward Chapel, 475 West 100 South, Vernal, Utah. Friends and family may call Thursday, May 29, 2003 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Spafford Funeral Home, 224 East 500 South; and one hour prior to the services at the ward chapel. Interment will be at the Vernal City Cemetery.
