I enjoyed reading the article about high school seniors and their reactions to the 9/11 attacks. However, I was surprised to see that the writers believe these seniors were sophomores when the attacks happened in 2001. Perhaps my calculations are wrong, but it seems that the 2003 graduates started their senior year in late August or early September 2002; their junior year in 2001, just a couple of weeks before the attacks.

This might seem trivial to some people, but it really reflects on the maturity of the students. There is much growth in teenagers during their sophomore year, both physically and emotionally; the reactions of these students reflects that growth.
