In reply to Alec Cannon's comments in the Readers' Forum on May 23, I just have to say one thing: You missed the point. Lee Benson was exactly right in criticizing Annika Sorenstam. She does not belong on the PGA tour, period. While it is true that the PGA tour wants the best golfers in the world competing, the same can be said about the LPGA. If the PGA is to allow Sorenstam to play, then why not allow qualified male college golfers to compete in the LPGA? The point is that there is a tour for men, and a tour for women. Why is it that women feel that the only way they can prove they are as qualified as men is to participate in men's activities? The point here, Alec, is that women and men are equal. But men are better at some things than women, and vice versa.
