"Roy"

Henry LeRoy Goss 95, passed away peacefully at the Utah State Veterans Nursing Home May 26, 2003.

Born in Salt Lake City February 8, 1908 to Annie Laura Fraser and Henry Frederick Goss. He married Hazel May Saunders May 5, 1944 in Denver Colorado. They lived for a time in Alliance, Nebraska where Henry served as a Tech. Sargent in the U.S. Army Air Corps working as a Clerk Typist and Teletype operator. At the end of the war they returned home to Salt Lake City.

Henry has been a "Jack of all Trades" and could and would fix anything. He would rise early in the morning because "That was the best time of day," and retire early in the evening. Hard work was his motto. He loved and enjoyed all kinds of animals raising horses, tropical fish, orchids and finches. He was a farmer at heart, loving all that it entailed.
