1920 ~ 2003

Fay Carlston Gedig, 83, passed away May 27, 2003.

She was born April 17, 1920 in Mammoth, Utah to David H. and Nellie Lasson Carlston. Fay grew up in Fairview, Utah, the youngest of seven children. She married William A. (Bill) Gedig in July 1940. They were married 54 years at the time of his passing in 1994.

Fay worked as a hairstylist in Salt Lake for over 20 years. Mother will be remembered for her beautiful gardens, her zest for life, and as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Fay is survived by her daughter, Linda Faye of Salt Lake; daughter and son-in-law Christine and Terry Re' of Poulsbo, WA.; grandchildren Travis, Eric, Brooke and Peter Re'; one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, R. David, Harold L., Arthur R.; sisters Nellie Fern, Mildred C. Rizzi, Iona C. Wells; and oldest grandson Adam C. Re'.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 30, 2003, 10 a.m., at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Drive. Friends may visit Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple.
