1922 ~ 2003
Louis Allen Rodgers, beloved by his family and friends, passed away May 25, 2003 in Bountiful, Utah.
Louis was born January 6, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Daniel Rodgers and Lula Manning Williams Rodgers. He attended Davis High and served his country in World War II. He married Ola Jeneal Fowlke, March 8, 1947 and was sealed in the Manti LDS Temple. He retired after 46 years of services from Phillips Petroleum Refinery. He was also partner in a cement finishing business.
Louis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, faithful home teacher and devoted father. He was a gifted singer and filled his life and home with music. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, building and carpentry. He taught his children by example of hard work and to be persistent in achieving goals. He also taught them to share with others and to keep a sense of humor.
He is survived by Ola Jeneal, his wife of 56 years; their five children, Allen Robert, Tanja, Sharree, Louis Neal and Cherol; five grandchildren and brother Brent. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 30, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bountiful 9th Ward Chapel, 585 East Center Street. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
