SPRINGVILLE — Police concluded Tuesday that the body found Memorial Day near a highway gas station is that of a California woman whose family reported her missing earlier this month.

Police say initial autopsy results indicate the woman may have died from an overdose of the medication she was taking to treat her bi-polar schizophrenia.

The body of 36-year-old Dena Lee Bos of Clovis, Calif., which is just outside of Fresno, was discovered Monday near a playground at the Maverick Country Store in Springville.

Springville Police Lt. Dave Caron said Bos' body was partially clothed, she was still wearing jewelry and her check book and credit cards were with her.

Family members told police Bos was supposed to be driving to Pueblo, Colo. Her car was recently impounded in Salt Lake City and police are still trying to determine how she got to a Provo motel where she was last seen alive.
