Sylvester Coleman, 95, passed away May 27, 2003.
Born September 4, 1907 in Crown Hill West Virginia to Floyd and Bertha Coleman. Married Harriett Dorthea Rix on October 25, 1933 - later sealed in the Salt Lake City, Temple on June 29, 1944. Served in the US Navy until 1928 and retired from the US Postal Service.
Survived by two children, Norman Coleman (Linda) and Robert Coleman; five grandchildren, Tony Coleman, Bob Coleman, Lauri Parke (Michael), Brent Coleman, Tyler Coleman; three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, wife Harriett, and daughter Patricia Ann.
Public visitation will be held Thursday May 29, 2003 from 7-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East 10600 South Sandy, Utah. Private family services to be held on May 30, 2003 at Larkin Sunset Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Villa for all their care.
