"Beloved Mother"

Nora Heaps Youngdell, 93, passed away May 25, 2003, in Bountiful, Utah. Born April 17, 1910 in Escalante, Utah to Henry Heaps, Jr. and Eliza Alice Alvey. Married Arthur Youngdell in Salt Lake City, Utah on Nov. 18, 1927. He passed away Feb. 4, 1949.

She was a baker, and loved making quilts. She was an active member of the LDS Church, and was a Temple Worker for many years. Worked as a Nurse's Aid at the American Fork Training School. She loved her little (and big) grandkids, and they loved her.

Survived by children, Betty Nemenz, Larry (Deone) Youngdell, Reed (Susie) Youngdell, Joann Putnam-Lay, and Linda (Edward) Wilson; 32 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ellen Coleman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, Lavell; daughters, LeVere (Tess) Hamil, Beverly Turpin, and Ardith (Ann) Rowell; son-in-law, Carl Nemenz; three brothers, and five sisters.

Funeral services Monday, June 2, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends and family may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
