"Mama Can See Again"
Emma LaVon Lehnherr Pearson, wife, mother, homemaker, was born September 20, 1917 to Ernest Lehnherr and Emma Bangerter Lehnherr.
She died peacefully and quietly, May 27, 2003, due to age and many health problems. She grew up in Granger, Utah. Graduated from Granite High in l935. Worked the family farm, at the Tooele Army Depot and the Veterans Hospital. Married Robert Pearson in l955. They had one daughter, Marlene.
Survived by, husband, daughter, Marlene, sisters: Norene (Jim) Jones and Betty Mosher, both St. George, brothers: Junior Lehnherr, California, and Bill Lehnherr, Salt Lake, foster sister Joyce (Bernerd) Baker, Salt Lake. Preceded in death by parents, sisters: Elva, Alice, and May.
Special thanks to Dr. Stephen D. Wood and Elizabeth Thor. Mama was so strong and so brave.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2003, l p.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens. Viewing for family & friends Saturday 11:30 12:30 at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City.
