A Salt Lake County man has been charged with two counts of supplying alcohol to a minor, a class A misdemeanor, after two intoxicated teens were killed in a car accident.

On Oct. 8, 2002, two Salt Lake teens, J.J. Clark, 17, and Eric Scott Cameron, 18, were killed in a crash in Big Cottonwood Canyon, charges filed Thursday in 3rd District Court state.

Blood samples from the teens showed they were drinking. A bottle of Black Velvet whiskey was found at the accident scene, charges state.

Investigators learned a 35-year-old Salt Lake County man purchased the whiskey for the teens. He and the boys had several shots before the boys took off with the bottle, charges state.
