Several campgrounds on the north slopes of the High Uintas will not have water this summer, courtesy of the drought.

The Mountain View Ranger District reports that a major spring south of Mountain View/Fort Bridger, has completely dried up. The Stateline, Bridger Lake and Marsh Lake campgrounds and others in the same area will be open, but have no water this summer.

Campers will need to bring water for drinking, washing and other uses.

The Wasatch-Cache National Forest is also still under a Stage One Fire Alert. Campfires are only allowed in designated fire rings.
