After the Alamo fell in 1836 . . .
1. Texas gave the structure to the Roman Catholic Church in 1841.
2. It was used as a U.S. Army supply depot in 1848.
3. The convent became a retail store and the chapel a warehouse in 1878.
4. Chapel reverted to the church in 1882.
