This summer's Concert in the Park series begins Friday and will be held each Tuesday and Friday thereafter throughout the summer. Free music and dance concerts will take place at the Brigham Young Historic Park, located at the southeast corner of State Street and 2nd Avenue. Free parking is available in the lot at 59 E. North Temple.
Concerts begin at 8 p.m. in June and July, and 7:30 p.m. in August. Picnics are allowed. ( In the event of rain, call 240-3323 for venue changes.)
The series kicks off with the Utah National Guard 23rd Army Band and concludes with the Utah Pipe Band.
