Three West Jordan men were charged Friday with attempted murder, a first-degree felony, for a Memorial Day shooting incident.
Charges filed in 3rd District Court state that the men, two 20-year-olds and a 21-year-old, tried to kill another man, Justin Riches. An argument apparently occurred after Riches and a companion showed up at the men's West Jordan apartment.
The victim and his companion attempted to flee in a car, but the three followed, eventually shooting Riches, the charges state. Riches was hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
