3/13/1920 ~ 5/30/2003

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, Larry Hurst was born, March 13, 1920 to John and Florence Turton Hurst in Birmingham, England.

Married his sweetheart Hazel Rea on Dec 20, 1947, later sealed to her on March 24, 1971 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Larry served in the R.A.F. during the Second World War, later immigrated to Salt Lake City, where he worked at Utah Power and Light for more than 30 years. Never wanting to slow down after retiring he worked as a custodian for three years for various LDS churches.

He faithfully attended the Temple weekly for over 20 years where he found great peace and joy.
