Gordon C. Wirick Jr. passed away on May 29th 2003 in Salt Lake City.
Born July 5, 1925 to Gordon C. Wirick and Mildred B. Wirick in Salt Lake City. Graduated from East High School in 1943 where he was a member of the winning football team. He served as a tail gunner on a B-17 over Germany in World War II.
Gordon received his law degree from the University of Utah and was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. In 1952 he married Mary Richards and together the family enjoyed many years of skiing, camping and traveling.
His career included sales and real estate for Phillips Petroleum and Safeway Stores.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Rebecca Anderson, Salt Lake City; son Creighton (Sue) Wirick, Long Island New York; brother Richard Wirick; grandsons Creighton Jr. and Jesse; newphews Steve, Rick and Andre Wirick.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 10:00 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Dr.
