"Together Again"
Husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, George Wilfred Perry, passed away May 30, 2003 at the age of 89.
Born Nov 23, 1913 in Stoneham, MA. to George and Chirstena Perry. Married Marian Boyd Dec 31, 1936 in Las Vegas, NV. Spent 60 Years together before Marian passed away in 1997.
George was employed as a Manufacturers Representative, traveling the Western United States. This was a perfect fit for him because he loved to travel especially by car. One of his greatest joys was traveling to the national parks of the West with his group of friends. If he wasn't traveling he wanted to be golfing and his goal was to play as many different courses as he could. His greatest love of his life was his wife, Marian, who passed away nearly six years ago. He spent many days missing her and remembering their times together. Once again he has been reunited with her to continue their journey.
Survived by his son Boyd, (Georgia) Salt Lake City; daughter, Kay, Houston, TX; also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Oliver, Fred; one sister, Dorothy; son-in-law, Don Hokanson; and great-granddaughter, Courtney Jessee.
Graveside services will be Tues. June 3, 2003, 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 S., Salt Lake City, Friends and family may call Tues. one hour prior to the service at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 E. 1300 S.
