- Evan Roger Percival, age 87, returned with honor to his Heavenly Father on June 7, 2003.
He was born in Ioka, Duchesne County on Jan 21, 1916 the son of Charles and Mary Corbett Percival. He married Nancy Rockwood Feb 1, 1963, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Evan served his country in the Army during World War II, 1941-1945.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Leslie (Keith) Morris, Charles (Brenda) Percival, all of Roosevelt, Carol (Roger) Luck, Vernal, Shelly Percival and fiancé Marvin Wood, Roosevelt, Joe (Aimi) Percival, SLC; 12 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Hugh (Eva) Percival, Roosevelt, Lucille Scott, Provo, and Florence Wright, Rockville, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, Lyle, Guy, Camilla Dorothy and Beulah.
Services held Tues. June 10, 11 a.m. at the Roosevelt 2nd Ward Chapel, 250 W. 200 N. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 E. 300 N, and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park, with military honors presented.
