PROVO — Elder John A. Harris, area authority seventy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the Utah South Area, will be the initial speaker for the International Forum Summer Series at Brigham Young University.
Elder Harris will speak at noon on June 25 in Room 238 of BYU's Herald R. Clark Building.
He was asked by the church to organize church education programs, including seminaries and institutes, in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru.
Elder Harris was a mission president in Argentina and in 1997 was called to his current position with the church.
