Bruce T. Reese, president and chief executive officer of Bonneville International Corp., was elected vice chairman of the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Board at the trade organization's meeting earlier this month in Washington, D.C.
Reese has headed Bonneville International since 1996. It is the broadcast media arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The National Association of Broadcasters represents the interests of free, over-the-air radio and television broadcasters, working with Congress, federal agencies and the courts in Washington, D.C.
Reese will serve on the board for one year. Carl Gardner, president of the Journal Broadcast Radio Group in Milwaukee, Wis., is the chairman of the Radio Board.
Reese's public service includes membership on boards for Primary Children's Medical Center, United Way of Salt Lake, Pioneer Theatre Company and Intermountain Health Care, Inc. He has also served on been a member of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Board.
