Murray gets $9,000 to build trail in park

MURRAY — The Murray Rotary Club has given $9,000 to the city of Murray for completion of a trail along Little Cottonwood Creek in Murray Park.

The city plans to build a 10-foot-wide asphalt trail, complete with benches, through the west side of the park to connect with the existing trail at the east end of the park. Eventually, the city hopes to extend the trail from Murray Park to the Jordan River Parkway.
