Three volunteers on Thursday will be given 2003 Volunteers Program National Awards by U.S. Forest Service officials.
BYU ground department employee Brian Eastman has helped maintain the Y. Mountain Trail for eight years. He will be honored for providing more than 1,000 hours of service and for organizing projects for local church groups and Eagle Scouts.
Former Pleasant Grove District Ranger Robert R. Easton retired from the Forest Service last year after serving 42 years. He is responsible for continued progress on the Great Western Trail and Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
James El Price, trails system planner for Mountainlands Association of Governments, has coordinated the trail projects that link city, state and federal lands within Utah, Wasatch and Juab counties.
BENJAMIN
The Utah Department of Transportation has restricted northbound I-15 between Spanish Fork Main Street and Benjamin to one lane for bridge repair.
Southbound I-15 will also be restricted to one lane south of the Spanish Fork Main Street interchange.
Lane restrictions will be in effect through June 16. Signs and other traffic-control devices will be posted to help motorists through the construction zones. Motorists should expect moderate to heavy delays.
UDOT encourages motorists to use caution and travel the posted speed limits while driving through work zones.

The second annual Himalayan Performing Arts Festival will be Saturday at the Krishna Temple. Performances will begin at 6 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children.
