NORTH SALT LAKE — Nicole Hansen, a senior from Bingham High School, South Jordan, is one of two runners-up in an essay contest sponsored by Orbit Irrigation Products Inc.
Top prize of a $5,000 scholarship went to Sameer Iyengar, Encinitas, Calif. Hansen and the other runner-up, Leigh Steuernagel from Chula Vista, Calif., each receive $500 in Orbit products. Contest theme was "Outdoor Watering Conservation — The Next Step."
