Texas-based Holly Corp. has closed its acquisition of the Woods Cross refinery and related assets from ConocoPhillips.
The acquisition is part of the pending merger of Frontier Oil Corp. and Holly. The merger still needs stockholder approval.
Holly operates refineries in Artesia, N.M., and Great Falls, Mont. It also operates crude oil and refined product pipelines in the west Texas and New Mexico region, Permian Basin crude-gathering operations and refined-product terminals.
