Leo Richard Barrett, age 91, died on June 1, 2003, in Salt Lake City.
He was born on September 13, 1911, in Nephi, UT to George and Elizabeth. He married Florence C. Christensen on June 6, 1931.
Retired from Utah Fire Clay after 38 years and retired from Salt Lake City Water after 10 years. Leo liked to fish, and loved the outdoors. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by daughter, Mrs. H.E. Staten (Mary); sons, David L. Barrett (Jessie) and Richard A. Barrett; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence C. Barrett.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue "N" Street. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, June 5, 2003 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City.
