1947 ~ 2003
Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Laura Joy Lee Hocker Lucardie, age 55, passed away June 1, 2003 with her husband at her side.
She was born July 20, 1947 in Chicago to Grant Joseph Lee and Norma Elizabeth Hansen. She married Thomas Constantine Hocker (later divorced) and raised three children. She moved to Salt Lake City where she met her best friend and future husband, Albert Nicolaas Lucardie. They were married August 6, 1994 and later sealed in the Jordan River
Temple.
Laura is survived by her husband, Albert, her children, Jeff (Ruth) Hocker, Lisa (Glen) Page, Kari Hocker; and step-children, Oscar (Charlane) Lucardie, Arthur (Debra) Lucardie, Caroline Woods, Ingrid (Kenneth) Price; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Grant Joseph Lee.
Laura will be remembered for her creativity, love of music, gifted writing, and compassionate ability to love all people.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wasatch Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2139 S. Foothill Drive.
